Today we came together to edit the footage of the band to fit with the song that is being played. When we filmed the footage we did it with the band playing their instruments with no noise to a background track of the song that we had online. This was crucial for us to get the bands performance exactly in time with the music. This took a while, we made a few errors but in the end we finally got it to match. We had the band play all the song even though they are only in parts of the narrative, this was to make it easier to chop and cut the footage out that we didn't need where the main story line would be, also we could add other shots and angles of the band that we got, such as, close up of the guitarists hands, the singers face only, the drummer etc.

Focus Group planning schedule
Me and Jess are going to do a focus group this will help us to get feedback whether its criticism or positive comments form our target audience, on our idea for the music video, before we film.We came up with some questions.
What are your initial thought on the idea?
Can you offer any feedback?
Whats your favourite idea/part?
Are there any changes you would make? feel free to offer suggestions
Does it make sense to you?
Do you feel it is relevant to the lyrics?

Filming plan
Me and Jess decided it was time to start filming some of the scenes in our music video, therefore this means we can then start to edit and put everything together without having to rush.
The only time that the band was free for the weekend was past 5pm.
Me and Jess had to consider the setting that the clips were going to be filmed in, we sat down and came up with a few ideas; for the band scene we can do it in the garden at one off our houses up against a brick wall, or in a room in the house using flashing lights to indicate a club or pub setting. For Emily's part we would have to film her waking up in the bed, not the stereotypical clean girls room, we will have to make it seem quite messy like she doesn't care. This setting is also the same place where the father figure scene will take place. The mirror scene we wanted to look as though she was still in the pub/club, however we can also see if the homes will do.
Finally the tunnel scene where Emily is throwing up, me and Jess live just down the road from a tunnel which is a perfect spot for this to be filmed there

Research into digi pack
A Digi pack:
For part of my coursework i have to create a digipak to go alongside mine and Jess' music video. Therefore i will need to do some research into digipaks.
Digipak is a patented style of CD packaging. A CD digipak is usually folds out to four sections, each featuring different images of the artist.
Digipaks always contains the artist or band; a bonus item; it could be a posters, bonus tracks ect.
